Need help locating an askme post on programming challenges July 31, 2009 4:46 AM   Subscribe

A while back there was a post on askme about programming challenges (I think the post was by a girl on behalf of her boyfriend but I'm not 100% sure about that).

I don't remember the exact content of the question but I do remember one of the first few answers linked to a great site with a number of programming challenges but I forgot to bookmark it or favorite the thread and now I can't find it.
Rather than asking essentially the same question again I thought I'd check in here to see if anyone remembered it and had it favorited.

Was it Project Euler?

Rather (since you're looking for the AskMeFi post), is it this one?

Whether or not it was Project Euler, I heartily recommend it. The hard problems will teach you a lot of math, the easy problems will teach you a lot about your language of choice (assuming you don't already know it). I've learned a lot of Python, Haskell and number theory this way.

Not sure if that was the question but Project Euler was definitely the answer, thank you!
