No sleep meetups til Brooklyn.
My favorite DUMBO bar got replaced by a douchey-sounding Soho branch with an unpronounceable name, but ReBar is still around and large enough to hold a respectable crowd. They have a good beer and wine list, plus vegetarian- and omnivore-friendly foodstuff. Happy hour is 4-7pm on weekdays. What say you to next Friday, March 7? We can shoot for another weekend, but I wanna see your lovely drunk faces sooner rather than later.
I'm also open to other bars and other neighborhoods, of course, but I've learned the hard way that it's easiest to throw down a specific time and place and then let you hoi polloi register your availability.

Brooklyn meetups seem to be far more informal and last-minute than the NYC ones. I would call them every weekend if I remembered. Anyhoo, I feel like Iridic and I are English Major bros, so I'll schedule another meetup for next weekend in his honor.
TPS, the seafood crepe is also amazing! And the whiskey selection is pleasantly extensive.

If we're still debating the date, can I put in a request for the FOLLOWING weekend (the weekend of the 12th)? I was kind of out of it at dim sum as it was (thank you, those of you who put up with me), and this week looks like it would be even worse. And I doubt that ReBar, regardless how awesome they are, would let me show up wearing my flannel jammies and go to sleep under one of the tables.
