OEF Meetup?
I know there are at least a few of us over here in sunny Afghanistan. How about getting in touch? We may not be able to meet, per se, but we can at least share information and perspectives about what we're doing.
If you're on a COP or FOB, PRT or RCP, PFC or ODA, let's talk!

This is what users feel like when techs are talking computers right?

I asked about IRL vs Metatalk, and a mod suggested this instead of IRL. If that's changed, I'd be happy to delete it and move it.

I suppose you can't put military bases down as the location in IRL.

Yes it is like that with additional bonus of non-techs get to tell us we're doing it all wrong, destroying circuit boards willfully and with glee and then that the computer would have fixed itself because the BSOD was saying it all was going to be OK after a memory dump and reboot.
I keed, I keed.
No longer in that AOR but I would submit the Thai place at the ISAF Airfield in Kabul (if it's even still there..I know the Korean place burned down at Bagram.)
