April staff tags are not showing up in Recent Activity.

That is all.

If I'm remembering correctly, I think there was some bug associated with that (it was causing a problematic behavior somehow), but I can't see an email about it, so maybe I'm thinking of something else. But pb will let us know when the happy sun kisses his eyelids and he awakes joyfully to the new day.

It's worse than I thought... not even staff staff tags show up in Recent Activity!

This must not stand.

They never did so far as I recall. They like to keep things incognito if you're only looking in passing, these cunning mods.

The staff tags only appear in MetaTalk, and the same is true for jokey staff tags. Our reasoning is that once you're using RA regularly for MetaTalk threads you probably either already know who works here or can find out easily. And we don't need to change that behavior for a one-day joke.

Jesus pb, get a room.

RA is a big server-suck query-wise so we figured this sort of thing wasn't necessary there. It hasn't been there the wholetime, likewise other staff tags. Find ways to make peace with this.

Jesus pb, get a room.

Actually I was thinking that anyone who uses RA for MetaTalk needs to get a room.

RA is basically for anything you've commented in. So a lot more people are using RA for MetaTalk lately.

A one-day joke? A joke?

Are you telling me I'm not really [stalin]?!

grouse: "I don't understand this comment."

RA is short for Residential Advisor. Typically the person who helps you with trivial problems in your college dormitory freshman year.

I hope that helps.

Or they call campus cops on you so you need to eat your stash and then lie through green teeth/tongue.

Well, the way you hesitate, go back and forth, and seem to make up reasons not to proceed, like you want to keep everyone from going anywhere, delaying, etc, I think you're definitely stalin.

Melismata: "Actually I was thinking that anyone who uses RA for MetaTalk needs to get a room."

You mean it can be used for other things?

Wait I don't get this one.

I am not seeing that on this end. It looks at a glance like the issue is a very long line forcing the browser to scale down there; page down and see if you can find a comment with that going on, flowing to the right side of the screen. If so I can probably fix it; it's likely but not a sure thing that the thread with that comment in it would display similarly badly.

I think it's this comment. I'll edit it.
