There are a bunch of comments suggesting there was originally a misspelling in The Whelk's Foul Bachelor Goons FPP, including one by restless_nomad saying he'd never seen a word butchered so horrifically by accident. Now I'm really curious what the original spelling was. Does anyone remember?

It read Smething rather than Something cause I'm illiterate.

I don't know. Maybe the Whelk will reveal the answer in one of a series of 50 one-liner vignettes about his life.

Hey, this is really a stretch for Metatalk. You could have actually just asked in that thread, or mailed The Whelk or restless_nomad (who is a she, by the way).
