Browsing AskMe Questions for Resolutions October 19, 2012 2:54 PM   Subscribe

Feature request! For the AskMe "My Favorites" page, would it be possible to mark best-answered questions with the same little green checkmark that appears next to best-answered questions on AskMe's main page? I often favorite questions because (while I never would have thought to ask them in the first place) they pique my curiosity once I read them, and I mean to come back to them later. A checkmark in "My Favorites" would be an easy way to see, from that page, whether such questions had been answered since I'd favorited them. Thanks for your consideration, and I hope all is well with you. I send my fondest regards to you and yours.

Would love to see this feature. I would give this pony a ribbon.

Same to you, Mr. Nog. Thanks for the kind words, and consider the sentiment mutual.

I'm not sure we could give it the same green checkmark since that's definitely a "this has a best answer" indicator which is different from the resolved tag. But there should be a way to indicate "This user has marked their question resolved" in some visual way I think.

Awww, this was really nicely worded, and it's a pretty pony, and I would pet it and feed it carrots and sugar cubes. Well done, Mr. Nog.

Even if a question hasn't been marked "resolved", it would still be lovely to see whether it has Best Answers; in this one, for example, there's no Resolved tag, though the OP seems to think that some of the answers were feasible enough to be maybe the right answer.

(I used the above as my example because the screaming is really spooky and hellishly unearthly-sounding!)

Ah, pb has informed me that I have misread this question entirely. That seems like a great idea!

A pony takes MASSIVE damage [80] from the glue factory's bash.

A pony looks somehwat wounded.

A pony casts heal and glows blue.

Sure! I just added the best answer checkmark to that page.

Was that the fastest pony arrival ever?

Hey, thanks, pb! It's true what they say about you: while you wield terrifying amounts of chthonic cyberpower, you're also capable of great kindness. I am as contented with how this all played out as a chinchilla that is softly bumping its forehead against that of another chinchilla.

I just clicked on My Favourites just to glory in the beauty of the checkmark. Thanks pb!

Awesome. 21 minutes!

Greg, can you ask PB for a free bottle of scotch for all members on the anniversary of their joining? Age of scotch should be years since joining * ten.

That pony certainly didn't require much wheedling. Easy pony.

There is some weird cross-species action going on in this thread that I would be totally uncool with if it involved anything other than a chinchilla. As it stands? Hot.

I'm picturing Greg Nog riding a unicorn down a cobblestone street, cape flung out behind him, to the tune of My Little Pony, through the streets of New York, with some giant man photographing him in the rain under a sodium light, and trying to sell it to the Daily News.

"It was him, I tell you! The Greg Nog! And he had a pony!"

Now that this request is all ponied, isn't it time that we pony this pony and pony pony pony? Pony pony pony! Pony.

Marie Mon Dieu: "I'm picturing Greg Nog riding a unicorn down a cobblestone street"

So if one is riding a pony/unicorn/mastodon in a kilt, does one ride side-saddle? Or do you just let it all flap in the breeze?
