So if I read that article correctly, all the time I spend on MetaFilter is adding tools to my belt! posted by arcticseal at 6:48 PM on January 9
Whatever happened to grumblebee? I always felt bad when he'd disagree with me because I wanted to respond to him but his comments were so long I'd reach my next birthday and then the next and then the next and then die and be reincarnated before I had the chance to finish reading one. He still around? posted by Afroblanco at 10:31 PM on January 9
(I suppose I owe you a drink. next time I'm in NYC. did they ever re-open Revival?) posted by Afroblanco at 12:27 AM on January 10
I didn't even know they closed Revival.
I'm still around. I was made an admin on quora.com (my profile), and that takes up a large portion of my online time (and gives me a huge appreciation of Matt, Jess, Cortex, etc). I still read mefi several times a day and post every once in a while. posted by grumblebee at 4:54 AM on January 10 [2 favorites]
I've somehow managed to avoid Tropes all this time, but this has completely sucked me in. Fuck! posted by phaedon at 6:59 AM on January 10
Huh. I totally remember that grumblebee comment because I thought it was brilliant but somehow, at the time, I didn't fave it.
