so I was perusing a thread, and noticed what looks like a formatting error, in this comment -screenshot.

I usually browse in Chrome, but the error persists in IE and Firefox too!

That happens once in a while when there's an extra closing <blockquote> tag at the end of a comment. If you flag it as 'html/display error' we can fix that up.

Another question I have is how the "My request requires community input and cannot be addressed by contacting MetaFilter staff." button magically gets checked all the time.

Funny. I've had the Professional White Background set for years, and I associate the Blue/Green with not being logged in ... it triggers a sort of "eww" in me to see the actual Blue or Green.
