The League Office has moved from Chicago to San Jose, celebrate perpetual baseball weather in Metafiler's 2015 Tenth Annual Mazda Butterball Fantasy Baseball League.

This really is our tenth year. We will be playing on Yahoo again with a rotisserie style league. There are 8 slots left after returning teams, so if you are interested follow the link in my metafilter profile.

I get the following message when I try to join:

"There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. If you were invited to take over an existing team, please click the link in the email you received to join the league. To create a brand new team, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning."

Should be fixed, I needed to release the spots from past managers.

It'll be interesting playing in such a deep league if all 20 slots get filled. I'm also curious to see how adding holds as a 6th pitching stat changes the equation.

Last year was a lot of fun as my first experience with fantasy baseball — and I'd say that even if I hadn't won! Looking forward to proving that by most likely being humiliated in my sophomore effort!

I posted this in the league message board but I figured I'd mention it here -- what's everyone think about the idea of transitioning to a keeper/dynasty league where some players are carried over season-to-season? In my experience it's really fun to have to think more about prospects and long-term roster decisions. Plus, of you have a couple bad injuries and are out of contention for the championship late in the season, you still have a reason to stay active.

I know with so many teams it could get a bit hectic, and obviously our esteemed commissioner would have to deal with all of that, but if there's enough support for it, I think it's worth thinking about.

I believe you can click through to cgk's profile page and it gives the link for the Yahoo group.
