Fizz makes video game posts interesting even for people who are not into video games!

And Fizz, I've never met you except through threads here, and I hope this doesn't sound weird... but whenever I hear/see something about your "posts about video games" I admit getting a little defensive on your behalf. Because my reaction is "But they're about so much more than 'video games'!"
They are about why video games are important and incredibly relevant in today's times. They are about diversity and representation in media. They are about why it's such a win when video games make an effort to represent the hair and skin of black characters, or add options for non-binary characters.
And I also wanted to specifically give a high five for all the excellent non-video game-related posts you've made. Speaking of diversity, I appreciated the one about casting (or actually, not casting) POC in stage roles. As well as posts on a variety of other interesting subjects, such as the enduring legacy of Joan Lindsay's Picnic at Hanging Rock, finding medieval writings in later bookbindings, and whether or not to walk on escalators. Just a few favorite examples among many.

Thanks friends. I said it above and maybe I'm just saying it again in a different way, but I like this place and the community that exists here, it's why I keep on posting, I'm always interested in what others have to say about all kinds of subjects.
