Reminder: I will be the only mod actively monitoring this thread so please be patient. I’ll reply to your feedback and questions at least twice a week. I’m looking forward to your feedback and questions!

Profit & Loss

– You can find this month's P&L report here. The previous P&L reports are here.

Admin/Moderation

– All paperwork for filing 2023 taxes has been handed over to our accountant. We’ll report back once taxes are done.

Tech
– kirkaracha is going over all the instances across all subsites where “MeFi” and “MetaFilter” are misspelled or miscapitalized and fixing them as part of his process to get used to the site structure.
– Further backend changes to RSS hosting that shouldn’t have changed anything visible
– Bug Fixing on IRL alerts, geolocation, and contact email.
– CSS fixes to banner positioning
– More fixes to stop menus from overflowing the page in Classic themes
– Fixes to automatic SSL certificate renewal

BIPOC Advisory Board

– Meeting Minutes: Awaiting final approvals for Meeting #22 Minutes before publishing, Meeting #23 editing is underway and will be reviewed/approved at our next board meeting.

– Meeting schedule: The next Board Meeting is scheduled for next week and this time kirkaracha will be joining us to discuss and define the scope of some of the Board’s pony requests. Also, Thyme has new availability so the board is internally discussing the new meeting time(s). No decisions have been made yet.

Rhymes with Beef Eye of course.

Huh. Based on overall post topic popularity, I assumed it rhymed with "Pee Thigh," but...

I'm glad those of us who pronounce it "meh, fie" are in a minority, because I'd be worried too many users would see it as an aspirational statement.
