I believe the biggest scandal of the night came when I was literally forced to approach the bartender and order a Shirley Temple for one of my fellow mefites. In order to ensure there was no incriminating record of the event, the bartender didn't even charge me for that drink.

Sorry for the delayed report, amberglow. :-) Several of us did end up braving a cold rain to meet up at Dora Keogh. In attendance were: Melinika, shepd, jacquilynne, dalton, orange swan, gesamtkunstwerk, and stonerose. (If I've forgotten anyone, then I was more drunk than I thought.) A boozy good time was had by all. Then, around midnight, we went out for Greek food - except for shepd, who seemed reluctant to leave the North American culinary shoreline, and had steak instead. stonerose and gesamtkunstwerk did indeed hook up, but given that they're a couple, that's not very scandalous, outside of certain southern states.

I'll try to get a few pics up today, but 1)I was the only one with a camera; 2)two people didn't want their pics taken, and 3)I look awful in the only photo of me, so I'm ill-motivated to post it. ;-)

Hopefully we can do it again, with a bigger crowd, when the weather warms up.
