Great job, Jason, MeFi is speedy once more. And I'm within a mile of the box itself.

Somehow being in such close physical proximity to MeFi is soothing.

Hey! Here's an idea: the MeFi Server World Tour. Now that it's been in Cali and NY, I think the box should take a tour around the nation. It'd be a great way to build the community and make a few extra bucks.

There could be tents where people would meet and greet, and on stage, the server. There'd be a Q&A with Matt, a beer garden, and a little rock concert. Opening for the server would be... the A-Listers!

Maybe treat the server like the Stanley Cup and set up viewings for the people in New York so we can all touch it. And even for people who are visiting New York.

Yeah, and each member would get the server for a day. I would take it to a soccer game, and have a barbecue in its honor.

At the very least, Jason, can I come visit it next time I'm in NY?

I think an important part of the tour would be taking pictures of the server sitting next to all of the world's recognizable landmarks (ref: J-Ko's picture of the Eiffel tower)...

Tom, we try not to let anyone outside of America know this, but New York is about a five hour drive from San Francisco, due North.

The whole east coast thing was a conspiracy thought up during the cold war to confuse the Soviets.
