Who's all coming? Any new revelations on the date/place?

We were a little iffy on the time, so let's work that out now. I know I can't get there until 7, unless someone can give me a ride. (My car is out of commission). What does everyone think? Also: Can/should we make reservations?

i'm in lyn-lake (next to pizza luce) but, if no one in the south suburbs can pick you up, i can certainly sweing down

Well. Good question. Last time, as noted earlier, mrbula wandered around the restaurant, holding up a pancake sign. I'm thinking some sort of flashy sign on the table? Should we all dress in blue and gold?

I'm going to call Black Forest and see if they take reservations. I'm going to say for 15, though I'm sure it will be less than that. Otherwise, we're solid for 8 PM, Black Forest.

Also: on the ride front, I forgot the busses are running, so I can do that since I live out of the way for people to pick me up.

Hmm. I know nothing about Black Forest. I'm thinking we'll want to sit inside, anyway, at this point since it's going to be 50ish degrees on Friday. Is it not possible to sit inside or am I missing something? Also, I believe someone suggesetd the place across the street in case of rain (Avio)?

UIDs and IUDs are both better than DUIs.

Hey, I'd like to call and see if I can make some reservations, but just to clarify: is this the Black Forest Inn on 26th St.we're talking about? I know nothing about it, so I want to make sure there's not another Black Forest I'm missing.

Black Forest doesn't take reservations, so we'll just have to take our chances. Anyone who wants to get there a little earlier and stake out a table will be considered Gods and/or Goddesses of the evening. So! Saying that, I'll see everyone tomorrow a little before 8 at Black Forest!

yeah. you got it... 26th and nicollet ... seems like the back deck might work - with a sweater and jeans? if its open. such a nice place when its warm - too bad global warming doesn't seem to be helping us out today. i think i should still be in for a drive-by but there is a rumour possible wolves tix ...

Hey, do you think anyone would be in a condition to drive to give me a ride home afterwards? I can get there fine, but the buses get all funny and involve lots of transfers later on in the night. I'd be able to do it, of course, but I am a Lazy Human Being, and don't want to make my roommates drive all the way there and back.

(Damn you, car! Come back from the shop!)

oh man, I'm all bummed out I didn't end up being able to make it. my one friend in town had a crisis and somehow I coudn't bring myself to tell her I'd rather hang out with some people from the internet that I don't know. you guys look cool, do it again soon?
