What about this? Can we frown upon front page posts that consist only of italics? Ouchie.
I think it may depend on whether or not the italics are done using <i></i> or <span style="font-style:italic"></span>.

I see the error of my legability ways, but couldn't think of a good way to express that this was someone else's voice. The quotes just didn't cut it for me. Can't say that I know much about the html tags above either and how they differ. OTH, writing something in my own voice wouldn't encapsulate the absurdity in the web pages author's quote. Thoughts, oh those from up on high?

In lagado's post, blockquoting would have been appropriate.

Blockqouting is not appropriate if it's the entirety of the post, however.

I dunno, really, it's up to you. I was just looking for something to be picky about since my own comments were recently frowned upon. It's nothing personal, machaus. :)
