Some problems with Atom feed June 22, 2004 12:10 PM   Subscribe

Atom feed. I've been trying to cobble some code together that'll do interesting things with the atom feed here but most times it comes up as mangled (Firefox says the same too). Any one else having problems? Any chance of it being fixed?

Firefox - it says:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://xml.metafilter.com/atom.xml
Line Number 83, Column 83:

And this page seems to agree (at least on the second error)

Yeah, it seems to choke here as well.

Nope, not quite. Same error, same line, different line number.

I'm tempted to stop publishing feeds and just use this feedburner feed instead.

Uh-oh. You see I'm mucking about with a bayesian filter of the feed and I'd really like to have the author name in there as I imagine it'll be very important for the stats. Unfortunately the RSS feed doesn't have it.

Oh well....
