MeFiSF: LIVING, BREATHING FEMALES on Armistice Day in San Francisco. At least one of whom wears glasses. No location decided, but probably somewhere on the Castro side of the Mission. We have a special guest from LA, so November 11th it is. Come one, come all, celebrate the end of the election season and, perhaps, the start of bets on whether Rehnquist will survive to cast the deciding vote.
Well, let's see how many show up this time, with this new advertising strategy.
Now that I think about it, didn't quasistoic get an "endorsement" from #1 as well? /me runs off to look for incriminating evidence.

maybe more than one special guest from L.A...
No promises, since I have a habit of trying to drive up to S.F. and not making it farther than S.L.O. Someday we should do an all-state MeetUp at Bubblegum Alley.

i'm in.
castro side of the mission ... hey, that's where i live. i can't really think of anything between the two however; it's always either/or. my general mission-faves are Casanova Lounge, Latin-American Club, Doc's Clock, 500 Club ... but that's probably b/c they're close to home. ;)
plenty of stuff near Market ... Lucky 13 (little loud), Pilsner, Orbit Room, Martuni's, the Mint (!!), Metro ...
anyway, i'm in. i'll mark it down in my imaginary planner and check back for details as it gets closer.

lucky 13 is awesome, and if you get there early enough you can hit the patio, which isn't terribly loud.

I have people in town visiting that week- but they often make their own self-entertaining plans, and I won't know that until closer to the date. I'll do my best to make it, but I'll be leaving my glasses at home. (Sorry guys.)
