Was the "register" form updated?

Am I being innovative within my own stupidities? Has the "register" form for MetaFilter recently changed? Is it suddenly less interested in my personal bits and pieces?

judging from the name of the login script, which is now "newuser2.mefi", i would say yes: the process has changed.

This was the OLD registration page. I think the personalize page has all sorts of fields for AIM/ICQ, Genger, Location etc. information.
