We can haz Projects? December 2, 2004 8:38 AM Subscribe
I've heard rumors around here about a potential .mefi section for 'fites to share projects they are working on with the community. Is this something that is in the works? If not, could it be considered?
From your link, moonbird: "This mailing list is being made obsolete by imminent changes at MetaFilter. For this reason, you can no longer sign up for the list."
That's one of those rumors I'm talking about...

Yes, it's in the works, according to Matt. What more are you looking for? Matt doesn't publish a timetable for when he will finish dev on new features, and even his soft estimates can slip.

I'm not looking for more, scarabic. I just couldn't really find any confirmation of this anywhere and I wanted to request the feature if it wasn't actually in the works.

Here's the only mention I could find in Metatalk about MetaProject or whatever he's going to call it.
"One, a place to announce your own work, to be a self-link haven exactly like the mefi projects list. I want to encourage the creative types among us to launch their ideas like I've launched mine, and to get feedback on those. I won't have comments on the accounce section though, only ratings of [this is good] and [this is bad]. The thought being, if something gets a lot of good votes, someone should probably post it on MetaFilter proper. That's the point of this: to help people get their projects seen, and if they're good projects, to be seen by a wide audience."

I've said it before. It has to be called Tell MetaFilter.
