I'd love to go but my primary only form of transportation is strewn all over my work bench and in the process of being restored and I don't have another way to get into the big city.

I'm all for Zizanie, although it should be noted that they're not licenced. Not an issue for me, as I don't drink, but we may have to make a second stop for those whose holiday traditions include getting liquored up. ;-)

I got drunk there earlier this Fall; they had a number of beers and some wine available.

Did they lose their license? That would be a shame.

The last time I ate there, they didn't have their licence, but that was some time ago; they may have gotten it since then.

Also, I wish to personally assure Dr. fucker, Esq. that he will be the recipient of one (or more) shoutout(s).

UPDATE: Unfortunately it seems that no one checked with Zizanie to see if they were open...they're closed until December 31st apparently.

NEW LOCATION: Earl's at Broadway and Fir (1601 W. Broadway). 604-736-5663.

A sign has been posted at Zizanie for those who might show up later.
