"One of the things that separates Synapse from other online communities, is that its members have the opportunity for their words to be shared with people outside the community, by being published in Mindjack Magazine." So say the Synapse guidelines.
I heard of mindjack for the first time today, via a community newsletter. Of course earlier today, when I saw the site, it looked different. It looks like they've ran out of money and are asking for donations now.

Mindjack's been around for over three years now. I've been doing my best to get it on people's radars.
We haven't run out of money (we never had any in the first place). We're just trying the subscription route to give us a bit of $$ before we go for some more signifcant funding.
Its a voluntary subscription though. You don't have to pay to get access to anything. But if you like what you read, it's a way to show your appreciation.
