New York City Meetup

Is the aforementioned NYC meetup, 6pm at the Magician this Saturday (02/12), still on? Or did everyone just go to suck up to greet Jessamyn last weekend instead?

Just kidding about the sucking up :D I would probably have gone too if not for a prior engagement.

I ccould stop by this weekend. But I'm outa town next weekend. So I vote for sooner rather than later.

I've never been to a meetup (longtime mefi-reader, only recently a user), and will be working this weekend, but would come to a splinter-meetup scheduled for the following one. (C.Linguist, amber.g)

Agreed. But the plan has been made. And the plan won't accomplish anything if it's not implemented. As for this weekend, I think a remedy cannot be found...And it makes me think of everyone. Have fun. I'll drink with you all in the future.

Ah, damn. The one weekend the next two months I won't be in NYC. I sure would have liked to meet some, if not all of you in person for the first time. Alas, next time. (That's actually one of my favorite bars, my band used to rent a rehearsal space right down rivington from there.)
