Connection Timeout members February 14, 2005 4:38 PM   Subscribe

Upon refreshing the home page, I noticed that MeFi has "Connection Timeout members". Searching the archives makes it seem like I may be unique in seeing this minor bug.

I see it as well, running Firefox 1.0 on Windows XP Media Center Edition.

It means the database server couldn't be reached when the number of members was being counted and cached, which happens periodically. Odd that you couldn't find it in the archives, I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before.
