I did---the hosts were clueless. I used the keywords "internet" and "website", but not "Metafilter", so perhaps it isn't all their fault.
I wandered around looking for a group of people in what I presumed was the age range for MeFites. I wound up introducing myself to several clumps of strangers in the bar area, but I admit I passed over tables with fewer than four. Optimism, I guess!
