NEXT not nexting in user search April 18, 2005 10:32 AM Subscribe
Archived results of a user search are broken down in batches of 50. However, going to different pages of the results keeps giving the same 50. (I tried using NEXT and clicking individual page numbers.). I'm on Firefox on OS X.
I suggest adding a link to the to-do list to the Meta sidebar. Then people might actually read it.

are you sure it doesn't give you a larger group each time? For me, page one is 1-50, page two is 1-100, page three is 1-150, etc - so the pages take longer to load & it's redundant, but you can still find the older comments if you scroll...
also, I don't see it listed on the to do list (possibly because I'm retarded) , so I will check if it's a bug for other people: often when I click the "go to this comment" links off user pages, it takes me to a completely random comment in the thread (often but not always the very first one) & I have to scroll around to find the comment I was trying to jump to...

If you have to ask why then you don't need to know why.
