What's so hard about coming out and having a beverage at 7:30 in the evening on a Sunday? You have a 4-hour commute or something?

Well, unless I drive into Manhattan and park there, taking public transit means it's about 2 hours to go all of ten miles (and that's if I drive to Manhattan and take trains to and from the event). Who wants to travel two hours to stop in a pub for half an hour?

I am sorry to say that something important has come up on my end. If I can make it, well & good, but if I am needed elsewhere at that time, I won't be able to attend the meetup.
