Happy birthday, Matt! October 10, 2005 4:45 PM Subscribe
As mentioned here, we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge your slow approach to age thirty. Happy birthday Matt, you whippersnapper, and thanks for keeping MF Co. on your to-do list.
Happy Birthday Matt.
Nitpick: "Twenty eight is old. "Almost 30" is how I'll have to start referring to myself now. Ugh. Posted at October 10, 2000 08:43 AM" Makes him 33, no?

Actually Matt only has 2 years to go before he's eligible :-)
Then again, at the risk of sounding obsequious he seems like far too smart a chap to actually want the job.

You're the same age as Jesus now. Next year you will be older. Now using him for an existential measuring stick, what have you accomplished with your life so far ?

You know, they say that if you haven't saved the world by 33, then you oughtta give up your delusions of being the Messiah. Fie on that, I say. Mathowie hath more disciples than 12 and they ain't nailed him up yet! Cheers, felicitations, benign charms, multisyllabic terms of endearment, and good on ya!

belated bunnywishes, matt! You know how people alway tell teenagers and college-age kids "these are the best years of your life"? Totally wrong. These are the best years of your life, trust me. Later, they're kind of the same, but with less body tone, and it gets harder to touch your toes.

I'm pushing fourty. Unfortunately, its from the top, down.
My guess would be that consensus is that at 39, you're considered "pushing" fourty.

Christ got crucified but once. Matt gets crucified every day of the year. Except for today, since it's his birthday. I think we can give him a day off...
Now, where is Jessamyn?
Happy days, Matt.

You can still pull from a 40 when you're pushing 40, but we all better pull up daisies before we have to push 'em.

28? Jesus, I'm 31 and now I feel old. I mean, what the hell have I been doing with my life? I mean, I sure as hell didn't make some fancy-pants collaborative blog-type thing before the age of 30.
Man, I suck. Thanks for ruining my day, Matt.
...oh, and happy belated birthday. ☺

Happy birthday Matt, from another who is pushing 40 from the top down. taz is right - the 30s are the best part.
