Nitpicky: projects.metafilter's page-switching navigation runs the opposite direction from the other three sites'.

A small detail, but habitual MeFi sodding off had me clicking in the lower left...

And I can say without hyperbole that the inconsistent capitalization is the worst catasrophe in the history of civilization.

It also has a completely different header layout.

I'm an advocate of white backgrounds, but with the absence of white backgrounds at MeFi, MeTa and AskMe, it really doesn't suit Projects in my opinion.

Who else has a projects nitpick?

The vote button is a link rather than a posted form. The dates are all PST rather than local. It calls itself new despite being 5 months old. The RSS feed doesn't include usernames. The MetaTalk thread linked on the right for reporting comments and bugs is now closed.

Hey, this is fun.

I think the name recalls too sharply the plight of low-income-housing dwellers in major metropolitan areas.

Whilst we're at it [I'm sure that this has been mentioned before, I just can't find it right now]:

I love being able to click on my logged in username at the top of Mefi. I'm not saying we necessarily need the whole
"34932 members | You are logged in as: dash_slot- / logout 1 link and 128 comments posted since your last visit"
thing. It would make it consistent site wide if that 'You are logged in as: dash_slot- / logout' was at the top of the FP for Metatalk & AskMe too. Plus, I we would have access to my our full member page, in a lazy ass fashion.

Just askin'.

dash_slot- scroll down, click on "My Profile" in the left side of the footer. That's on all sites (except Projects of course).

Then I reccommend the "plain text" theme, which renders all sections of MeFi w/ white background.

Oops. You'd never actually believe how much time I spend here...missing such abundant features.

Also, the RSS feed has a "vote +" link which (thankfully) does not actually vote for projects--it just takes you to that project's database entry.

maybe be projects could have a hot pink background?

MeFites' projects fail to sufficiently entertain me. I would like to see fewer web comics and special-interest blogs and more time machines, successful coups, and genetically engineered lifeforms with improbable capabilities. Also, the current time is still only half visible.

The title attribute of the link to flag comments should say, "Flag this comment," not "Flag this post."

it's a useability thing, he's written a book about it.

I'd like to think that, every time he sees a comment like that, Matt just quietly mutters "ZING!" and then goes about his business. You can really be a prick, q.
