One comment, one project posted. Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of wait? How is this distinguishable from ordinary spamming?

Here's the one comment:

Technology is useful but HARMFUL, suks!

Well, at least it's not a FPP. Seems like Projects is working!

I thought there was too. Certainly should be.

I don't mind commercial sites there and I've approved lots of "zero day" members with projects. I guess the lamer ones get noticed like this one, but I thought the covers looked kind of cool so I posted it.

Certainly makes you think twice about those iPod cases...

Hard to tell, isn't it? But Matt's decided Projects should be open to that sort of newbie shilling, instead of limiting it to oldbie shilling.

Well, the covers are kind of bland and a little clichéd if you ask me. Where's the variety? Where's the technical skill in the artistry? bleh.

That said, it saved us from a horrible horrible front page self link and matt approved it, so lighten up.

By definition, "spam" is unsolicited, and projects is an open solicitation.

I'm curious about what kind of things don't make it through, as well as how often those things show up.

You assume the poster would have FPP'd it if Projects didn't exist. But as you yourself put it, Projects is an open invitation.

I think we should give the OP the benefit of the doubt here. No rules have been broken.

I didn't know that "unique and new" were the hallmarks of Zen. Color me educated.
