jessamyn was working the Democratic convention in 2004 as a blogger, and the Daily Show was up there making them look like dorks, so Ed chatted with them and jessamyn mentioned how he reminded her of me, so they did this silly photo thing.

The sarah vowell one is kinda weird though. I can't imagine how someone explained that to her or why she agreed to do it.
