Meetups in Montreal or Ottawa?

I'm in Montréal for a couple of months. Anyone interested in doing a meetup here or in Ottawa? Here's a link to the last discussion. I'll try to email everyone who commented on it. Feel free to send me an email @odiv.net.

My net access is limited, so I'd appreciate it if someone else could take over organizational duties. But I can probably handle it...

Usually I'm in the frigid north or the east, so this is my best opportunity to meet some of you.

i should be in mtl in 3 weeks... not sure which day or for how long yet, but we can exchange phone numbers via icq once i arrive. if i'm not there in time for a proper mefi meeting we can still go out for coffee, if you want.

I'm an Ottawaian...I'm in if it's being held there. If not, I can probably find a way down to Monhh-re-y'all anyway.

hey -- wow! did anyone note that meetup changed the "name" of the metafilter group to "Jack In the Box Devotees"? ... looks like someone's been spying on us (or maybe getting the tons of complaint mail? either way: the choices look a little better this time, guys.)
