Instead of slot machines, we'll have scratch-and-wins.
Instead of watered-down drinks, we'll have fresh pints of microbrew.
Instead of Siegfried & Roy, we'll have Hockey on TSN.

Plus, there'll be BALLOONS!

Oh yeah? Well we have KARAOKE! Friday night. 9pm, at Ellis Island, in Las Vegas. I think ebk might be singing the old standard "Nails Get in Your Eyes". And mefiers local to the area might want to swing by and see if they can spot us.

And I'm thinking perhaps later on another MeFiVan at a Giants game would be simply groovy.

Well, that evening there's an opening I'm most likely attending (I mention it 'cause it's work by Caterina who still comes around here sometimes, I think), but I will do my best to be there. And not to cause offense to anyone else here, but the opportunity to meet our fearless leader doesn't happen every day, now does it.
