It's going quite well at the moment - I've been there since 5 with 'Eccentrics' but noone else seems to be there.
This could be the first MeFi meetup with one attendant. ;) Sort of a zero-comments thread of the MeFi meetups...
Popped over the road to surf, will go back around 7:15, if noone there by 8 I think I'll go home.

I'll try again in a bit. ;)
The only reason I gave a time of 5pm is that the place was nearly empty then, and it's a lot easier to find someone in daylight. It's getting crowded now, but there's still space outside. Which is where I'll be sitting for a bit longer, next to a nice bright light, so my book is clearly visible. (And some of the patrons are quite easy on the eyes, which sort of makes up for it).
*sniffs* (but hey, what an achievement!)

I just got a job which I was training for, and I came as soon as I could, 8pm. We're all idiots for not swapping mobile numbers. Next Time, Gadget.
I was asking round for an 8-foot tall gentleman with blue hair.
