No posts on MetaFilter since 12 midnight? Am I the only one seeing this or have we truly reached the end of the internets?

Nope. We still have 21 minutes until 12 midnight.

I logged in and back out, deleted cookies, tossed my cookies but it appears that nothing has been posted since the Improv Anywhere link.

Only one FPP on MetaFilter between 10:01 PM PST and the time right now (almost 10:00 AM PST the following day).

I think there is a problem with logging in (or, perhaps more accurately, with both cookie recognition and logging in).

I got "Your username or password was not found in the database" (while attempting to log in via an AskMetafilter detail page) quite a few times before I was able to login (via the link at the bottom of a profile page). (And yes, I have no idea if the location from which I started really made a difference, or something else changed.)

quonsar: "you're missing the pope rising from the dead and smiting dubya! turn on CNN!"

I'd pay to see that movie.

Sweet! I'll pray it's true.

This page is more. Don't make me make it an FPP.

I opened the wrong end of my bag of potato chips today. Surprisingly, it works just as well.

Get your own blog, jonmc.

Seriously, jonmc, get your own blog. I'd read it.

I used to have one. This is what remains of it. A years worth of Movable Type posts were consigned to oblivion when my credit card expired and my domain lapsed. C'est la vie.

But I'm retired from blogging. Hanging out here is enough to satisfy what little creative urges I have.

Well no. There were no posts and I was wondering if something was broken. Hopefully that's reason enough. Or we could make a post about not wearing pants but we've been down that road before.

Dude. All those potato chips that you ate were upside down. That is some seriously bad karma. You'd better sacrifice a pint of onion dip before it's too late.

Wow, sounds like someone needed their fix. And here I thought *I* was a MeFi junkie.

That solves another mystery jonmc, I wondered what happened to your blog. There is so much Mefi stuff now, I don't know how people find time to keep up with it and their own weblogs.
