That's right, a self-linking double post. June 27, 2005 10:58 AM   Subscribe

What do you do when you successfully self-link? Why, you do it again a month later. That's right, a self-linking double post. Afrooz, I must salute you, and your remarkable chutzpah.

And yes, I usually flag and move on, but this boggled my mind enough to meta. I'm thinking the closed thread could use deleting as well.

I don't think calling him an asshole was warranted. Painfully ignorant of plainly obvious rules, yes.

*shrugs*

Not sure what got into me this morning, as I don't think I've ever called anyone a name here. But I really, really hate it when people willfully shit on the site. He said he understood the policy, and boy is it obvious on the posting page. I don't think ignorance is an excuse in this case.

I hadn't caught this person self-linking before though I did think the wording on the post sounded odd on first pass.

I deleted today's post and locked the account. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Cool beans. If you feel like closing this thread too, feel free. There really isn't a deep discussion to be had about self-linking, I suppose.

No, but there's a substantial discussion to be had about the phrase "cool beans."

J'ACCUSE!

Actually, does anyone know which culture or ethnicity features the surname "Family"? I'm legitimately curious. Is it a variation of Famile or something similar?

I'm a doddering forty-year-old with a mortgage! I will use the phrase "cool beans" any time I like! I shall also use "groovy", "neato", and possibly "peachy keen" with frequency AND aplomb!

So take that, herring-breath!
