As usual: very interested, but things're hectic. If the time and place work out, I'd love to go, but I'd rather not see my schedule be a factor in the planning because I will then feel like a 30-foot pile of rabbit shit if I don't make it.

I'm out of town 8/10-8/14. Any other time is awesome. Weekends are better, as usual.

I think angry works late, so perhaps a saturday would be best?

My votes are for the 6th and the 20th.

I've never gone to one, but would love to go for the first time.

Practically any date or time works for me.

I leave in Minneapolis, near the Falls, and the VA hospital.

In Minneapolis or St Paul would be great, but I've got a car and can drive anywhere but would prefer suburbs south and/or west of the cities.

Can't wait !!

I'd totally love this, I wanted to go to the last one but was prevented (predictably) by the snow storm that night.

I suppose we should start suggesting locations, then...my preference would certainly be somewhere in Uptown. None of the bars in Dinkytown are any good, Downtown is too noisy/trendy/cheesy, and the places in Midtown are mostly smaller neighborhood type places. I love the Triple Rock but it's not really big enough to accomodate.

Where was the last meetup, how many attended, and how did it go?

I would also like to see us go to an independent bar, rather than Old Chicago or Green Mill and such.

Also, I concur with the 6th. It's only 4 days after my birthday.

Last time we were at Rock Bottom...I think about 8 showed. We sat there for a while and then five of us migrated to Herkimer.

I like the Herk, but it's not a place I'd like to repeat.

What about Nomad? It's just up the road from the Rock, and it's got a nice patio if we decide to do that...

Or we could always try the Elsie's thing again. They just built a new bar and patio and we could have an activity besides slugging booze.

Well, can we tie it into this meetup? Pregame meetup to game to bar afterwards?

I have a terrible time driving in the Twin Cities and would like something along the light rail, if possible.
