So what is PG's second pic, anyone? It's just about the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

Necker writes "No."

Why not?

To enable a desperate cry for attention?

I was racking my brains to try to find a link too - I remember seeing the series of them linked all over the place a few years ago. I think the character is called "Joshua", and it's basically a series of bizarre doctored still photographs, conceived as an art project. Haven't spent much time looking today, but didn't turn it up with a couple of quick searches.

Yeah, I stared at that one for a while. Very interesting and confusing....

I will not confirm or deny that my staring had to do with the fact that the chick is wearing one of those shirts that are HAWT.

Oops - forgot to italicise joeforking's quote - the first line of my reply. Sorry.

This picture is from a series of photos called "Understanding Joshua" by Charlie White.

Ya know, I kind of wish that post hadn't been deleted. As NinjaPirate pointed out, there's a certain serendipitous joy in those posts. Sure, they're prima facie bad, but they tend to devolve into online jam sessions that often make a nice counterpoint to (and often better reading than) most of the NewsFilter posts that pass through here.

No one argues in them. I always get a hearty chuckle out of several "comments". They're a good release valve for the Blue.

perhaps that should be "as NinjaPirate pointed out"

(not that I want to toot my own horn)

Since it doesn't seem to have been explicitly cleared up, for any of the people saying "flag it and move on," it seems Necker was requesting not a deletion, but that the FPP link be fixed and the nonsense comments deleted, something that does happen here, if rarely. Unfortunately, it looks like people have already gotten to attached to the narrative as it played out to let it go. No big loss, IMO - the link isn't that good to begin with.

Oh, that makes sense. If only Necker had communicated that, the outcome here might have been different.

Yeah, this was my point. No restart was needed because even fixed, there was really nothing to see.

Yeah, I've got subpar linking skillz this morning...

P_G that bunny was awesome. I can't even comprehend the time and effort the artist (or is it author?) must have went thru to create that.

Thank you for that info greasy_skillet. I'm kind of relieved "Joshua" is not real. I'm still wondering if that is William Shatner in that pic though.......
