It's about time for an SF meetup. I'm thinking, oh, Thurs, Aug 11, maybe Aug 18, from around 6 PM, at ... hmm, I don't know where! What do you think?

I'm always up for Zeitgeist, but it seems that people often find it too something or other (noisy, dirty, bbq meaty, etc.)

Sounds great cailinb - thanks for putting these things together! As for me, I've got relatives in town til the 17th, so I could only do it on the 18th.

Either looks okay for me though the 18th is liklier to be in a crunch-time at work.

I'd like to attend one of these, but getting up to the City at 6PM on a weeknight's really tough. Don't Silicon Valley MeFi's ever do MeetUps?
