Line breaks being added to post after I preview an FPP? [more inside]
Line Break Issues in "Preview"
Suggestion: In AskMeFi (and perhaps elsewhere, Idunno), line breaks in preview ought to look/work the same as when published. [more inside]
Line Break Issues in "Preview"
It's pretty annoying that inserting carriage returns shows line breaks as typed in the "preview" window, but the final result is breakless (after all, what's the point of the preview?). I've had unpredictable results manually adding "BR" tags and "P" tags...they seem to sporadically interact with the typed carriage returns and yield vast white space.
If anyone can point me to a workaround, I'd be appreciative. But, really, it'd be fitting if postings posted per the preview, no?
Line breaks in AskMe RSS
Why is there no line break before the (more inside) part in AskMe RSS? [more inside]
RSS vs. Page formatting
Why does this question lose all formatting even though it is formatted in my RSS reader? Doesn't appear to have happened to other questions nearby.
a paragraph break callout
I know that it's Christmas, and filmgeek seems like a great guy, and this is indeed a great post. But are the paragraph breaks really necessary? It seems like they don't really add anything to the post, and they don't make the link any more clear or insightful. I don't really see why they have to be there, and they kind of throw off the eye when browsing the blue.
Sorry if this is the Worst Callout Ever. I realize that the topic of line breaks has been touched on before, but as far as I can tell, we haven't gotten into the paragraph breaks too much. What is the policy on this? (To be clear, I don't intend this as a filmgeek callout, just a paragraph break callout).

Linebreaks in preview on AskMe.
AskMe apparently trims line breaks from posts. I guess I understand this, but it would be nice if it also happened in the preview. In preview, my line breaks were still intact, so I hit the post button, and now my post looks a bit silly. Not the end of the world, but I figure it can't be intentional.
Strip extra line breaks?
Could we have a [more inside] feature to encourage people to keep their posts short?

Strip extraneous line breaks at the end of posts.

My first post looks bad
Ok, I've posted my first original link.
And I discovered that the entry parser for new posts works almost, but not entirely, unlike the parser for followups. Blank lines don't automatically turn into
tags, I need a
in my sig that I don't need on followups, and if I *do* use a
, the nice indented formatting blows all to hell.
Um, "what the hell"? :-)
Cheers,
