Timestamps for search (pony?)
Unless I'm missing something, there is currently no way to see how old a search result is on the site other than clicking on the post in question to see when it was made. Are search results ordered in chronological order, or relevancy? [more inside]
Shades of Meaning
Fresh? Just posted? Moments ago? What's the difference? [more inside]
Timestamps on Activity pages not zone-adjusted
I love the new Activities page(s) in the user profiles, but the timestamps on comments and posts there aren't being adjusted for time zones. For instance, I see this comment of mine as having been at 10:16am (which is correct) on the AskMe page, but at 7:16am on my activity page.
Timezone identifiers are wrong
Preview/post timestamps don't match
I noticed a minor bug when posting a comment earlier. When previewing, all the timestamps are in PST. After posting the comment, everything went back to normal (CST for me). Not a big problem or anything, but a quick search didn't show it having been reported yet.
Anyway to see to the exact second a post was submitted?
Just Curious Filter: Is there anyway to see to the exact second when a post was submitted? Extopalopaketle and I made similar posts about the San Francisco zombie mob within the same minute.
Timestamp Bugs
Bug: Recent Activity timestamps are wrong. E.g., I'm now (10:55AM US/Eastern) looking at recent activity on my Ask MeFi post "What does 'Only In Theatres' mean? (Ask MeFi)", and I see "15 total comments, last 10 shown below" - and all of them say "This Morning" except the last one. In reality many of them are from before midnight, either US/Eastern or UTC.
Timestamps and bugs and issues, oh my.
Last month, there was this bug about posts from yesterday being timestamped as "this morning" in My Comments. The same thing is happening in My Posts. It is confusing.
Timestamps
"Timestamps" in "my comments": The quasi-timestamps in "my comments" are wrong. The early ones are right "This morning"/"12 Hours ago"/ "7 Hours Ago" etc.
But then at some point it seems to reset and comments from yesterday are listed as "This morning" and "4 hours ago". It looks like it's only taking time into account and not the date?

Timestamps off
MetaMystery: Something was funny about the FP (Front Page) of MeFi for me today: the date stamps on all the FPPs (Front Page Posts) were in Mountain Time (UTC-7) instead of the time zone I had specified, Pacific (UTC-8). Was that some Daylight/Standard time thing happening or did somebody figure out my password and change my specs? If so, please disregard any comments posted in my name so far today. Or is this really me posting this in MeTa? I get so confused.
Timestamps in wrong timezone
I'm logged in, but I'm still seeing timestamps in PST (I'm in EST, and my customize page still says that.)
(Win2K/IE6)...and at work so there may be firewall issues.)
