Not that it's anything earth-shattering but a post I made a few months ago has found it's way into the trackback section of Wired. September 05 issue, page 87. Just thought it was nifty. Doesn't appear to be on the web...

crash, don't point that tongue at anyone unless you plan to use it.

You know, I saw that the other day in a print copy of "Wired." I almost bought it, scanned it and posted it here.

But then I remembered that I don't really like "Wired" anymore, so I bought a copy of "Oxford American" instead.

No mention of MetaFilter in that, though.

You know, you could be a little less excited about not appearing in "Oxford American".

I was surpised they used your real name. I saw that and thought (no offense) "Who's that?"

Your comment made it to wired?

Same here. And then I felt weird for wishing they had used someone's screen name, as though it were more useful.

I felt weird about it too frankly. Not that most of you would have known who I was using my screen name, either. I'm not exactly a rock star around here.

dabitch yes, my comment made it to wired. But they left out me saying "fuck" at the end.
