What's the protocol for posting about updates to previously linked sites that members might like to see? For example, SmashUp Derby has four new downloadable mp3's but somehow I don't think it's postworthy.
The lazy option for Matt would be to create a new metatalk category, and then link it off the sidebar. Hint hint.

Google, the popular search engine, now offers web-based email accounts (they're calling it Gmail; invite only right now) and I hear they're thinking about a maps thing to compete against Yahoo! and MapQuest. Interesting company. More info on that and their future IPO here.

UpdateFilter - I like that idea a lot Amber. Matt, this makes total sense as many links end up being double posts merely because someone was trying to keep it current.
