What do people think of threads like this?
Looks fine to me. Are you insinuating that askme is being used as a forum on how to beat the law? If so, I know we've had this discussion quite a few times here.

I think it's an interesting question.

In general, I think that if you're posting to MeTa and you have a more inside coming, you should have the more inside written and ready to post before you start the MeTa post.
If your question is complete as stands, it's hopelessly vague.

So people don't have a problem with that question. That's all I wanted to know.

why do you have a problem with it? It's not like the person asked how they could break the law, just how they could lessen the penalty from one arbitrary state that affects insurance rates to another that doesn't.

Could you possibly explain why you're feeling that we should have a problem? You're being kind of vague here.

If I have a problem with what someone is trying to accomplish in an Askme question, I simply won't post an answer--even if I know it. But I won't piss on the green by posting my opinion of the asker.

The question ended up so vague because I wasn't sure about posting it at all, and I guess I shouldn't have. Sorry everyone.
