I can't find this book collection app October 13, 2005 11:56 AM   Subscribe

There was a link in the blue to a cool web app for putting your book collection online. It would automatically pull a cover image from amazon or somewhere, and had a very clean interface. It did social web app stuff too. But its name was too clever and I've forgotten it. Metatalkers, I seek your help...

Funny, I was just adding some reviews. It's a great (if new and rough-around-the-edges) service.

It's not librarything, but librarything has the same functionality and more users, so Yea! Thanks!

I love the fact that you can import text files.

Apparently, the import only works if you've keyed in the isbn :(

I think the app I was playing with had a name like book^2 or something similar. But librarything looks like a superset of the original application. Thanks again!

You might not be able to find it b/c it was a self-link - I dimly remember some post about something like you describe getting deleted for that reason.

You could always try Bookcrossing.

Awesome. Any of these like to import comma-delimited text files? I will check them out, and as penance create a comparison chart.
