I didn't put the tag 'gay marriage' on my post, and I didn't change the formatting so as to make comments #2 & #7 nonsensical.

That's 'cos I didn't see it as being about gay marriage. I guess someone else did. You have got my email address, so...

If I post something about the state of, say, Paladins and their skill trees on the test server, is there a chance that it'll get tagged as "gaymarriage"?

Just saying ...I didn't complain when they came for my neighbor.

The UK law is to permit Civil Partnerships, and anyone who has seen my comments on the debate in the past will have seen thaty I do not see CPs as being equivalent to marriage. If they were, they would be called 'marriage': which they aren't. They are not open to straights, they are not an equivalent, they are not known as marriages.

So - for example - Elton & David - will get married Dec. 21, the effective date of the legislation creating civil partnerships. The new tag is misleading. Please remove it.

I would also respectfully say that my original formatting was, yes, teasing - but ya wanna make everything so simple? Please.

I do not like them here or there
I do not like them anywhere
I do not like them in a boat
I would not, could not, with a goat

I changed the link from a nearly-invisible colon to the entire last sentence. Jessamyn must have added the gay marriage thing.

Am I the only person who tags my posts with descriptive tags? That is, tags that will actually help people find the posts they're looking for? "Love_conquers_all" is very cute and all, but it doesn't tell you anything about what the post (and subsequent conversation) is about.

Ok, I removed the colon jokes. Feel better dash?

I just tried to remove the offending tag, which led to a plain page with this text:
Looks like you're trying to delete tags fromto the wrong post. Go [my italics]

I can see this probably bothers no-one else on a Friday night. It does bother me though.

Could you remove the gay marriage tag please?

Except when it comes to tags.

As dash_slot says those tags were no only put there by someone other than him/herself, one is factually incorrect.

A transgendered individual marrying a woman is not gay marriage.

Well, if we want to get technical about it, love isn't conquering poverty or hunger, either -- so love_conquers_all is an incorrect tag. I can understand that he's sore about having the tag added without his knowledge, but it's what I would've searched for was I looking for this post in two weeks.

dash_slot, is this transgendered individual now a woman, or not? if she is, and she is marrying a woman, it is a same-sex marriage. That was the impression given by the article. Maybe I'm missing something.
