Error message when posting comment January 24, 2006 8:13 AM   Subscribe

Error message "Element POST is undefined in FORM". Seen this a lot recently, only when adding a comment in MeFi or AskMe.

Only get this when at work, using IE 6.0 (don't tell me to upgrade - The Powers That Be™ won't allow it).

I use IE 6.0 at work, and have not had this error. Win2000 Pro, if it matters.

could it be a corporate network thing that is doing some caching/filtering and not letting some of the form variables through?

Maybe. Our Internet Police are on the job. But would that still be the case if I'm still able to post successfully after a try or two? Just wondering...
My solution is just to select the text of my comment, paste it, and try again.
