The link in this post is ask.metafilter.com/mefi/40483#624324 but it opens at the post and not at the offending comment. Makes it rather difficult to follow the thread as a result. Am I missing something? Was it deleted? Can you point me to the comment in question? Is it OK to ask three four questions?

If you're ever wondering if the referenced comment has been deleted, check the comment ids in the thread and try to high/low it—you'll either find the comment, or find the space where it used to be.
