What's the most offensive racist joke you've heard?

I love and cherish extremely offensive rascist jokes, and they are a crucial part of my work. Having a collection of the best is mission critical for my furture success in life.

There are a lot of sub-par level, not so funny, plain and ugly rascist jokes around, I don't want those.

I need the ones that are so impossibly terribly bad and cruel and horrible that they spin my chakra wheel just so.

Regarding the question on ask.metafilter: Racist oppression, any question that would ask for derogatory jokes about a segment of the population is subtle hatemongering with the intention of inciting contention and propagating slander, libel and misinformation. This thread is dangerous and should be removed immediately.

Two elderly black women in the mall were telling jokes and I was sitting on the bench across from them paging through a book I had just bought. One of them told a dumb slaves/plantation joke to the other. Something about what you call black people in a field. I didn't understand why they thought it was funny but whatever.

The policy is that if there are a lot of flags we'll take a closer look at it. Your post was not just flagged more than any other post this month [that wasn't a chatfilter or self-linking post] it also had a lot of flagged off-topic dumb joke answers, quite probably because of your over the top tone, or maybe because you mispelled racist as well as the future you claim to care so much about. The question wouldn't have stayed if it were fat jokes or jokes about disabled people. You can get your racist jokes jones on in a zillion different places on the Internet, that thread was just going to become a target for people to get pissed off at each other and pissed off at the admins either for leaving it there or not leaving it there. The site's too big to have to babysit one AskMe thread just so no one cries "censorship" We've tried it before and been sorry.

The chicken pics were links in MetaTalk where we almost never remove anything. I have no idea how many times it was flagged but 19 people called it a favorite.

I disagree. Maybe I misread Meatbomb, but my impression was not that he was asking for racist jokes because he is, in fact, racist, but was asking because he enjoys the shock value of racist jokes. I do, too, and I am not in any way a racist. They're funny because they are so outrageously inappropriate. It's like the whole 'Aristocrats' joke thing-- the idea that breaking our biggest taboos is actually really funny and cathartic.

He should have been clearer about all that, if that indeed is the direction he's coming from. But there's no reason to say that any question that would ask for derogatory jokes has to be made with the intention of propogating slander, libel, and misinformation.

Frankly, I'm surprised at how quickly and unanimously the censorship came down here. It's not what I would have expected. I would have much preferred a good discussion about humor, profanity, cultural norms, racial stereotypes, and political correctness, along with some horribly funny jokes.

It's my theory that racist, sexist, fat, nationality jokes are tests. You tell a mildly racist joke to gauge the response of the listener and determine if their level of racism is the same as yours. Collecting racist jokes seems like collecting Nazi paraphernalia - an obsession with the profoundly obscene. And telling them at job screenings is unlikely to be a good idea.

Bookish: if it had been meant seriously, and worded differently, there would have been more straight answers, possibly more discussion, and a slightly lower chance of instant deletion.

As it was, the question was a fucking mess, and had a huge troll in it, as BackwardsCity points out. He's trying to riff on the perceived wisdom that if only you can relate a ChatFilter to a job or a purpose it'll be OK.

It wasn't. It was a puerile attempt to game AskMe, and it got what it deserved. I don't believe the church vetting line for a second, but if it were true it still doesn't justify this.

To ask people to supply you with content that can be misused you have to allow them to justify it to themselves. Not only did that question not have any such justification, the one he gives here isn't good enough.

"HAY I AM VETTING NANNYS CAN YOU GIVE ME CHILDS PRON PLS?"

I don't think you can enjoy racist jokes and yet claim that you are not racist. It just doesn't work that way. It's racist because the joke alienates and mocks a group of people based solely on their racial group, and that's pretty much a text book example of racism.

You may not be overtly racist in your everday behavior. In fact your racism may be very mild, It may be wholly limited to enjoying offensive jokes, but it is racism nonetheless. Pretending it isn't is disingenuous and insults your intelligence.

I don't think you can enjoy racist jokes and yet...

What a limited scope your consciousness must have, oddman, to think this way. I wonder how old you are, and where you grew up, to be so thoroughly indoctrinated into seeing only yes/no black/white distinctions.

Ugly, xenephobic hate and racism is a horrible thing, but it isn't the only option other than "correct-thinking non-racist guaranteed 100% pure of thought".

What if someone has travelled all over the world, learned a bunch of languages, spent extensive time living in other cultures, has close friends from all over the world, appreciates irony, post-modernism, sharp twisty fun thoughts, etc., and still thinks a really sick and horrible racist joke is funny? Does that person get a brand on his forehead and burn in hell? Shall we all point at the bad man?

Want to know a secret? A lot of stereotypes are true, I've seen it with my own eyes. Kyrgyz villagers smell like goats. Russians like to drink vodka, and get drunk. Chinese students study harder. Germans are well organised, and fussy about time. Difference is part of what makes travel and multiculturalism so fun, stop being so shy about that.

First of all, Cranberry, the address of the church is: http://www.goodnewsforliberaldemocracy.org.

Some dude named jayder called him an asshole for wanting a swastika tattoo and asking how to find a Hindu bride. A very misleading smackdown because Meatbomb wanted to get the ten most important symbols tattooed on his digits. It wasn't like he was some skinhead. For Christ's sake he wanted the star of David and the peace sign, too. I just checked that thread and the Hindu bride thread and I have to say, both threads had a large number of good responses. Usually the only AskMe questions that get over 40 responses are the "i want to have sex with this person i know somehow but for some reason i think i shouldn't oh my what should I do" gossip column type. Meatbomb's other "controversial" threads didn't get deleted and somehow everyone survived; in fact, the marked best answer to the swastika tattoo question was somebody talking Meatbomb out of it.

Oh, and by the way, the answer to the sex question is: just do it because you've obviously already made up your mind you horny dipshit, you're just looking for someone in cyberspace to give you the ok. There, now all those stupid questions can be deleted.

Also, you'd know that his requests are honest and if anything, his problem lies in not forming his AskMe questions in a way to get under the radar. And as at least one of his responses above shows, he can write coherently and lucidly. So if he'd bothered his arse to do that in the question, and not snark about "critical to my furtres" we wouldn't even be here.

I like transgressive humor of all types, too, in appropriate circumstances. Asking a "community" to compile a list of outrageously offensive material, however, is purely an exercise in stirring up the shit. Since the material, by definition, is offensive, and since the targets of the humor will definitely be well represented here, it should be obvious to anyone with even a meager amount of forethought that a great many people, will, in fact, be offended. (And for everyone who isn't, there will be ten sensitive souls who will be offended on their behalf.) So. Take responsibility for having asked a string of questions that seem quite calculated in their outrageousness. It is quite possible to be entirely sincere, and still be a troll. You may be the sweetest, coolest, most earnest troll in all the land, but you still belong beneath a bridge. (Yes, I know that all trolls don't live under bridges, but some stereotypes are true.)

Yeah, it's nice that he's a good guy in real life, but that's not really the point. He's being a dick on MetaFilter

The point is intent: he isn't trying to be a dick, so give the guy a break.

Er, yes, that's the point of this thread.

It's not this thread that's unwarrented: it's the personal attacks.

It's a short, yellow bus, isn't it?

Of course it's not. It was his AskMe thread that was unwarranted.

Funny how with all the get-on-the-bus-my-children blather there's still no explanation as to exactly how racist jokes are to be used to, ahem, "screen" people for this, ahem, "church."

Actually I think it is a old VW bus likely painted in a variety of colors and with Greys adorning the sides.

2) Assuming that people will be offended by outrageous racist jokes that reflect their heritage, if the prospective disciples aren't offended, then they must be pure

Any guy trying to start a cult is OK in my book. Starting a cult is the third oldest profession and it's honest, hard work. I don't think the question was that bad but whatever.

So instead of spitting on Herr Meatbomb's racial insensitivity, we're gonna start making retard jokes? OMG! Short Bus! LOL!

Nice view from your glass houses, fellas?

I see your church has nothing against incest, then. not that there's anything wrong with that, of course - it's the game the whole family can play.

k8t
Why?
Your point is...?
It is not like I am hiding, and googling my name does not make you some super cyber-sleuth.

If you would like to meet me to discuss anything, I am on the 8th floor of the Chanin Building, 122 E42nd, NYC, M-F 8-6.

If you need any more super secret information, just feel free to ask.

The best "racist" jokes are the ones that subtly undercut the apparent racism. An example is this, my favourite Irish joke.

So, Paddy goes for an interview with the foreman of the building site. The foreman says,

"Well Paddy, you seem to have some experience in the building trade, but we just need to give you a little intelligence test. Okay?"

Paddy says, "Woy, t' be sure, begorrah" (etc, and all your best stereotypical Irish bullshit)

So the foreman says, "What's the difference between 'girder' and 'joist'?"

Paddy scratches his chin, thinks for a while.. then says,

"Now dat's a hard one, roit enough, but oi tink dat Girder write 'Faust' and Joist wrote 'Ulysses'"

Good luck with the church Meatbomb. Naturally I conflate Meatwad *with your screen name, which adds to my general confusion.

It's bit of a gift. I bear witness.

So, at the end of the day, It's Raining Florence Henderson wins, k8t loses big time, and Meatbomb remains Meatbomb - which I consider punishment enough, but which he'd probably count as a victory.
