Toronto Meetup

Is anyone here on Consumating? They're having a Toronto meetup tonight beginning at 9 to 9:30 at Paupers on Bloor Street (539 Bloor Street West, just east of Bathurst). Sorry for the short notice, but it might be a nice time if you can spare a few hours from your breathless social lives;-)

Judging by the tags, it looks like only Capn and Jacquilynne have hit the trifecta of being Consumaters, MeFites and Torontonians.

Though I just love how the Consumating search engine considers Vancouver and Halfax to be "within 25 miles" of me.

I'm really only on Consumating because they're owned by CNet and it came up in one of my early interviews. I signed up so I could find some relevent things to say about it in later interviews.

And I just logged in and apparently 7 people don't like me. Which is not exactly encouraging me to log in every again, ya know?

It's not really that, danb, or at least it isn't at all effective as that. You can indicate whether you're in a relationship or not. Plenty of people on there just use it for the sort of virtual screwing around your partner would never object to - posting funny pictures, or funny answers to the weekly questions, chatting, and tagging each other.

Perfect! I was looking for another stupid social networking thing. Facebook didn't move quickly enough and MySpace hurts my brain. I need to get my time-wasting in, here.
