What? Boston again?

Ok, so I missed this meetup, but I've been busy moving. So who wants to have another Boston meetup in another 2-3 weeks (the weekend after Labor Day or the one after that one) to welcome your newest resident? Hopefully I'll fare better than when I left NYC, though I fear the posting history I've amassed in the intervening time may discourage attendance.

This thread is now accepting your preference, re: which weekend is more convenient, and which establishment you'd like to patronize.

I enjoyed Big City for pool last time. I'm told the drinks were good, too. I'm not a drinker, nor is my girlfriend, so I'd appreciate at least part of the meetup being in a non-bar atmosphere. We can always migrate, in part or wholesale, if folks aren't feeling the pool-hall vibe.

Unfortunately, both banjo and I will be in Ireland for those two weekends.

Yeah, the atmosphere and the beer selection at Big City seemed pretty good. I'm okay with either of those weekends. And I heard positive reviews of the Super 88 food court. Hopefully I'll finish this roll of pictures from Saturday's meetup before the next happens.

Come up to Portsmouth!

I probably won't be able to make this one, but 'll try. I moved to Beantown from NY a few months ago and have never been to a meetup. If I were more sure that I could come, I'd vote for meeting at the Milky Way in JP for some bowling and pizza. Little Luna's pies are pretty good.

I'd possibly be willing to go to a meetup at the North Pole Portsmouth. Is there anything that's not kitschy tourist shops there? (Sorry to stereotype, but, really, that's the only part of Portsmouth I've seen.) I've been meaning to check out Milky Way, too. Maybe we can try the converse of the post-modern meetup: everyone goes somewhere different, but at the same time. And orders a virgin martini.

Plenty. But why am I gonna tell a tourist?

I can't do the weekend of the 8th, but any other weekend should be fine...

I vote for Portsmouth. Would that be a 1st meetup in New Hampshire?

I think Miko was joking, at least this time. She told me she probably won't be available either weekend. I'm totally up for a Portsmouth meetup, but only if I know Miko will be there!

I'd be up for another Boston meetup. Had a good time on Saturday. I also don't get out to JP enough and the Milky Way sounds intriguing.

For anyone still interested, I'm putting this idea on hold for the moment. I'm dying for a meetup, but this job hunting thing is taking longer than I'd planned.
